We would like to thank Pamida for the $500 donation to the Middle School Accelerated Reading Program. We would also like to thank everyone else that donated items to the program.

6th, 7th, and 8th grade activity night May 8th until 6:00 at the high school.

Congratulations to the Middle School FFA team on their Regional win. They took first in the Junior High level Conduct of Meetings portion. The 8th grade team took a 4th place and the 7th grade team took a 8th place at states.

The Middle School is once again signed up for the Meijer Community Rewards program. The 6-digit code for joining is 972643. Forms to join can be picked up in the middle school office or you can go to Meijer.com/rewards.

Congratulations to Alicia Douglas on being chosen as student of the month for April.

Congratulations to the following students for winning the District Level of the Patriot's Pen Essay competition. The winners are Jacquelyn Downs 7th grade, Jordan Zimmerman 6th grade, and Shay Arquette 6th grade. (Please click on their names to see their work)

Congratulations to the students who performed at Solo Ensemble Festival on December 1st in Beaverton. Earning a First Division rating for an outstanding performance were Ben Jurek, Austin North & Ray Spivey for a trio, and Ron White & Jennifer Lentz on solos. Jennifer Lentz & Ron White earned straight A's for their performances.
